Monday

Whatever you do,

work at it with all your heart,

as working for the Lord,

not for human masters.

~Colossians 3:23~

Donna Fay Miller told me yesterday that she spent several days in the hospital last week.  I told her that explained why I wasn’t able to catch up with her.  Please pray for her as she continues to face A-fib issues and pneumonia.

Juanita Pritchett is home and ready to resume her regular activities.  Thank-you for praying as she had a heart procedure last week.

Mr. I. W. Simmons is undergoing tests to determine how to battle his new health concern.  Pray for him, his family, and for the doctors.

Please continue to pray for David’s brother, Jimmy Alford, as he awaits additional tests.

Continue to pray for those recovering from Hurricane Harvey and those facing Hurricane Irma today in Florida and southeast USA.

Summer Clemons Blades made it back to Kentwood after she and her daughter, Megan, faced Hurricane Irma while on a small island last week.  We thank God for protecting them and many other.

The youth did a very good job of leading worship yesterday at FBC, Kentwood.  We had a full house.  The most important thing is that two people made professions of faith.

WMU meeting – 10 A.M. this morning at FBC, Amite.  Y’all come.  We will be focusing of the week of prayer for Louisiana Missions and the Georgia Barnett Offering.
