Saturday

This day I call the heavens and the earth

as witnesses against you

that I have set before you life and death,

blessings and curses.

Now choose life,

so that you and your children may live

~Deuteronomy 30:19~

Pray for Mrs. Bessie Hayden as she lives with eye problems that are continuing to get worse.  She has the best attitude despite her problems.  Keep her in your prayers.

Continue to pray for all the children who are out of school for the summer.  They’re playing ball, swimming, traveling with family, etc.  Pray for safety and for good experiences in all they do.

Pray for our churches as they work overtime to provide opportunities for children during the summer months.  May the activities that are provided help children grow in knowledge and in a relationship to God.

Read the Bible – Ezekiel 37-39 & Psalm 42

Two Rivers Associational WMU meeting Monday at FBC, Kentwood at 10:00.  Rev. Bobby Spinks will be our speaker.  He will give us a report on his recent trip to the Amazon with NOBTS.  I hope each church in our area will bring a nice group of ladies and girls.

It’s time to begin working on Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.  Set your goal and begin to collect items.  You are welcome to deliver your gifts to me before Sunday School each week.
