Wednesday – March Already!

Through him you believe in God,

who raised him from the dead and glorified him,

and so your faith and hope are in God.

~1 Peter 1:21~

David and I briefly visited Bettye and Fuzzy yesterday.  She is thankful to be at home and has a very good attitude about what is being done for her.  She appreciates your concern and prayers.

Ora Lee Wilson will be having her pacemaker replaced Monday.  Pray for her as she waits for Monday to arrive.

Mildred Birch‘s issues seem to be related to infection around her pain pump which will removed.  Pray for her as she works to overcome this problem.

Rev. Gibby McMillian asked me to inform you of a gospel singing by the Jubalheirs at Livingston Baptist Church a week from tonight.  You can check the church’s website for more information.

Bible Reading – Deut. 21-23 and Psm. 60.  If you get behind a day or two or more, just double us and soon you’ll be back on schedule.  It doesn’t matter what day you read the Scriptures, just read them.

Sunday will be the first day of the Annie Armstrong Week of Prayer for North American Missions.  Please pray and give so that work can continue to be done in Canada and the United States.  We have many people who need to know the Lord.

If you have not already done so, please look around your home for PAPERBACK Bibles that are not being used.  They could be very helpful in the ministry to the inmates at the Tangipahoa Parish Jail.  Boxes are under the office and balcony stairwells for you to leave your PAPERBACK Bibles at your convenience.  We appreciate members of other churches who help with the needs for the jail ministry.

Whom have I in heaven but you?

And earth has nothing I desire besides you.

My flesh and my heart may fail,

but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

~ Psalm 73:25-26 (NIV)~

Children in Action – Meets at 6 P.M. tonight.    (I trust all of you know there are many more things going on in addition to the things I post.  I post the things I am involved with because I know the most about them.)

Friday Morning Bible Study – We will study the last chapter of John this week.  The first study guide for Ezekiel will be available at that time.

Let your life touch others in a positive way today.
