“Now glory be to God,

who by his mighty power at work within us

is able to do far more

than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of —

infinitely beyond our highest prayers,

or hopes.”

~Ephesians 3:20 TLB~

Please pray for Daryl Carruth of Greensburg.  He had a bad spell yesterday.  He was diagnosed with dehydration and an infection.  He’s home again, but not feeling his best yet. We all get busy outside and sometimes forget to take care of our bodes.  Please be careful to keep plenty of fluids in your body in this HOT weather!  When you don’t, your symptoms can be very frightening.

Tomorrow will be the 5th Sunday of the month.  Some area churches have special times for music.  If you are available, you may want to attend or even participate.

FBC, Kentwood will hold their second annual special day for first responders tomorrow.  The morning worship service will recognize them.  Later, everyone will be served a jambalaya lunch with lots of homemade desserts.  We are very thankful these people are in place when we need them.  Let’s take the time and make the effort to show our appreciation all the time!

I hope there is much enthusiasm in your church and your individual family for OCC.  This is a very meaningful project each of us can become involved in.  The rewards are innumerable!  If you need help getting your church involved this year, please contact me.  I encourage each family to become involved as a family.  There’s so many blessings awaiting you!  Don’t miss them!
