so the Lord has compassion

on those who fear him.”

Vacation Bible Schools kick off next week for several churches.  Various churches will have them during different weeks some in the morning and some at nights.  I’m looking forward to being a part of two next week.  Check the individual churches for specific information.

Sunday afternoon, Pine Ridge United Methodist Church will host a Going Away Party for Rev. Kevin and Jana Smith who will be moving soon.

Devotional, Scripture, and a Song

Friday Morning Bible Study will not meet next week due to VBS, but will next meet on June 17th.  At that time we will begin John 7.  See me if you wish to have a study guide.

Operation Christmas Child – June collection items have been added to the wreaths.  Purchased items can be taken to my Sunday School room next to the choir room.  I get so excited when I purchase more items.  I also get excited when I see that others are becoming involved in helping with this worthy cause.  If you need help in any way, please ask me.

Be alert to sudden changes in the weather for the next few days.  Most of us don’t have to be concerned with flooding, but the lightning and hard rains can cause problems too.
