Please pray for Kenny Ray Slaven, grandson of Mrs. Bessie Hayden.  Kenny Ray hurt a hand at work and is in room 2412 at North Oaks.  Pray he has a good recovery from his injury.

Last Sunday, James Rimes share a magazine with me.  He marked a particular article and identified it as “Thankful”.  The magazine is the November 15th issue of “B & B” ( Bluffs and Bayous).  The article. “Turkey Trot”, is very interesting.   The author lists eight things he is  thankful for.  They are:

  1. Family and Friends
  2. Able to Worship Freely
  3. Able to Live Out in the Country
  4. Running Water, Indoor Plumbing, and Electricity (the greatest is the running water.)
