At just the right time

we will reap a harvest of blessing

if we don’t give up.”

~Galatians 6:9 NLT, 2nd Ed.~

Devotional, Scriptures, and a Song

  • “A Missing Sheep” –  http://odb.org/
  • We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.                                                                                                                                                  ~Psalm 100:3~                                                                              He rejoiceth more of that sheep,                                                                                                            than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.                                                                                                                                           ~Matthew 18:13~
  • “The Ninety and Nine”  http://cyberhymnal.org/htm/n/i/90_and_9.htm                                      I remember the “who, when, and where” of first hearing this hymn.                                                  Who – Rev. Charles Tolleson, then a student at SLC, and my uncle,  was                                             the guest musician at a revival.                                                                                                  When – I was a child (1950’s) and very impressionable.                                                                Where – Natalbany Baptist Church on Highway 51                                                            Going home, I discussed it with my parents and at home,  looked it up in a                      hymnal so I could soak in every work and the meaning of all those words.

With the improvements in technology in the last 102 years, just imagine how it could sound today!

I’m remembering the many “one lost sheep” all around me and all around the world today!
