A resident of Kentwood, she died on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at St. Helena Parish Nursing Home in Greensburg. She was born July 10, 1950 in Leaksville, MS and was 64 years of age. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Joe Allen Easley; 2 daughters, Jody Easley Davidson and Stacy Easley Cassel; 2 sons, Buddy Lynn Easley and Joe Allen Easley, II; grandchildren, Trenton Bailey, Thomas “Trey” Bailey, Matthew Bridges, Drew Davidson, Ethan Cassel, Bella Fisher, Kenadie Easley, Carter Easley, and Kade Easley; great-grandchildren, Taylor Bailey, Talon Bailey and Addison Bailey. Preceded in death by parents, William Clark and Emma Jean Clark; three siblings, Ralph Clark, Elvin Ray Clark and Deborah Ann Clark. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Services conducted by Rev. Don Meadows.   • Cush Shaw

Herbert “Cush” Clay Shaw, 91 years old of Hammond and formerly of Baton Rouge, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at his residence.
He was born on Wednesday, October 31, 1923, in Kentwood, son of the late Henry Shaw and the late Hazel Lockhart Shaw.
Mr. Shaw served our country during World War II in the United States Navy Seabees. He was the former owner of Shaw Electric Company in Baton Rouge and a Master Mason over 50 years with Lodge #435 in Baton Rouge. Mr. Shaw was a longtime deacon in the Baptist Church.
Surviving are his 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Ed Cockrell, Gwen and Lamar Rhodes, and Smithie and Jim Cooper; son & daughter-in-law, James and Beverly Shaw; brother, Elton “Coach” Shaw; sister, Kathryn Kuss; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Estelle Dykes Shaw; 4 sisters, Doris Yarbrough, Elizabeth Audibert, Lucille Brown, and Mavis Ione Shaw; and granddaughter, Kim Johnson.
Friends will be received at First Baptist Church in Kentwood, Friday, March 13, 2015, from 2:00 pm until the memorial service at 3:00 pm. with Rev. Joe Baugh officiating.
Interment will follow in the Woodland Cemetery in Kentwood.
