Friday

“Don’t worry about anything,

but in everything,

through prayer and petition with thanksgiving,

let your requests be made known to God.”

Andy Davidson

Mrs. Fay Raborn asked us to pray for her daughter’s sister-in-law.

Please pray for Andy Davidson who is very sick. Andy is sister-in-law
of Becky Raborn Davidson and is a patient at North Oaks. She will
appreciate your prayer support so much.

Koltyn Gafford

According to Koltyn’s dad, yesterday was not a good day for Koltyn, so let’s pray extra hard today.

Update: 1-22-15

Koltyn didn’t have a good day today, very fussy and didn’t want anybody touching him, his O2 level is a little low, and he’s getting a breathing treatment to take care of that, so please keep praying that he gets a good nights rest and has a great day tomorrow.

  • Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.                   But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind                                               and straining toward what is ahead,                                                                         I press on toward the goal to win the prize                                                           for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.                                                                                                                  -Philippians 3: 13-14-

Camp Living Waters

Today, Monica picked up the items from the church that we had collected.  She was pleased and said she could use EVERYTHING to help set up the five trailers.  What she needs now is one coffee pot and two small microwaves.  If you have these items, please let me know.  Used is fine.

Tues, Bro. Ronnie gave us some very practical ideas about how we can minister and meet needs in our communities.  I’ll share a few of them here:

  • Free outdoor concerts
  • Block parties (The association has equipment that can be used.)
  • Uniform drives
  • Backyard Bible Clubs
  • Tutoring
  • Helping with transportation to appointments, church, etc.
  • Child care
  • Teaching parenting skills
