“Elijah was a man with a nature like ours,
and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain;
and it did not rain on the land
for three years and six months.
And he prayed again,
and the heaven gave rain,
and the earth produced its fruit.”
~James 5:17-18~

“God is Not Dead”
A friend and her daughter have purchased 300 tickets to this movie so it can be shown in Hammond. If you are interested in attending, please contact Carol Ann at 985 687-7814 or Betty at 985 969-5455. The movie will be shown Saturday, March 22. Tickets are $6.00 for the 10:45 movie and $7.50 for the 12:45 movie. They already have the tickets “in-hand”, so make a call and request the number you would like. From all that I hear about the movie, we will be blessed by viewing it.
Our Daily Bread – “Perspective from the Clouds”
Hymn of the Day – “By and By”
The site I like to use for hymns is undergoing a period of construction. I’ll check back with them later to see if I can use their link. If not, “Trials dark on every hand, and we do not understand, ….”. Today, this does not apply to me, but it certainly does some days. It seemed the most appropriate hymn to go with today’s devotional.
Third Thursday
We will be expecting lots of company Thursday night at the cabin. You are invited to join us. We always have a great time of fellowship and communion with God.
Team Kid
Last night, I was blessed to be able to share about the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering with the two older groups of children at FBC,K. It is always so great to see how they absorb what they hear and remember what they heard last time. I thank God for this opportunity.
