“[God] is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that works in us.”
Jan Yarborough was released from the hospital yesterday and went to her sister’s for the night. Today, they will come to Jan’s. Thank God Jan’s surgery went well and that her sister is available to help her until she is moving around a little better.
Austin Rose has had some ups and downs the last couple of days, but mainly ups! He has even been able to go our for a little basketball. His hair is thinning some, but that is a small price to pay to eliminate cancer. Keep praying.
Jimmy Dufrene is still undergoing tests to determine what his problem is. Susan, of Lara’s Gowns for Smiles, is sticking close by. Pray for endurance for her and answers for Jimmy.
Last night, we had our Third Thursday Meeting. It was such a blessing to me. Jimmy Schwartz, fresh out of the hospital, came. That thrilled my heart. Our new participant was Ruby Schwartz. She even sang “In the Presence of Jehovah” for us. Andy Taylor led our worship time. Mr. Harlan Toney sang too and made me smile, as usual. Six churches were represented! To God be all the glory!

If we consider those who have served in out military over the years, we will realize they helped make our present world possible for us to enjoy. Last month, I asked Andy Taylor to sing “Thank You” at our gathering last night. He did. We have many people to thank for our Christian background and our growing in the Lord. That’s what the song says so well for me.
Another day and more opportunities to serve so we can make a difference for God!
