Tuesday Afternoon

A candlelight vigil will be held this evening at 7:00 for a 6-year-old boy from Watson who was struck and killed while playing in his subdivision.  Livingston deputies said Tyler Myers was playing with his scooter in the Lakes at Belle Terre subdivision when he was struck by a neighbor turning into his own driveway.  I’m sure the neighbor would appreciate your prayers too.  Funds are being collected at Chase Bank to help with the funeral expenses.

Pray for the large family of little Kye Grice.  It’s hard to let little ones go, but there is no doubt they go to heaven.

Mr. Ike Jenkins can be added to your prayer list.  The family asks that you wait to visit when Mr. Ike is feeling better.

Tuesday

Monday

“You are the light of the world.

A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.

Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

In the same way, let your light shine before others,

that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

~Matthew 5:14-16 NIV~

The ladies’ meeting at the cabin was wonderful!  We enjoyed sweet fellowship.  I know we will see some fruits of our time and plan to meet again like that.

The Lord gave me everything I had, and they were his to take away.

Blessed be the name of the Lord!’

In all of this Job did not sin by blaming God.”

Early Friday Afternoon

Mrs. Annie Bell Harrell just called to report that Mr. Philip had the test about noon.  Several blockages were found.  The doctors will treat them with medication.  (“Miss” Annie Bell said she thought this was the report from Phyllis, their daugher, but there is a chance she may have misunderstood due to hear hearing problem.)  Please keep praying for both of them.

Friday

“My aim is to evangelize where Christ has not been named,

so that I will not build on someone else’s foundation, but, as it is written:

‘Those who were not told about Him will see,

and those who have not heard will understand.’”

~Romans 15:20-21~

What a moving night we had in the cabin last night!  If you missed it, mark your calendar for the third Thursday next month.

Mr. Philip Harrell’s blood was still too thin for the angiogram yesterday.  He will be tested again today to see if surgery is possible.  Pray the test will be done on schedule according to God’s perfect timing.

Ruby Travis had serious back pain for about a week before she learned she had two herniated disks in her back.  Doctors did surgery Wednesday night in Jackson allowing Ruby to come home yesterday.  Pray for a complete recovery.

Paul Boudreaux, father of Joy Moore, had a stroke yesterday.  Pray for him and the family as they go through the coming days.
