I’m going to post The Prayer Link early because of the uncertainly of the weather (and the electricity) in southeast Louisiana in the next couple of days.

Tuesday Addition

Cindy Juban, Andy Taylor’s sister, is on her way home from Ohio.  Thankfully, her brain tumor has been removed and she can see.  Thank-you for praying for her.

Bobbie Magee and Theople Hurst have lost brother their brother, Gerald Mason.  The funeral will be in north Mississippi Thursday.  Please be in prayer for this family.

A resident of Kentwood, died at 12:10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Southeast Regional Medical Center in Kentwood. He was born November 9, 1917 in Kentwood and was 96 years of age. Survived by 2 daughters, Estelle Tillery and husband, Carlton and Linda Womack; 3 grandchildren and their spouses, Steve and Elisabeth Sanders, Melinda and Louis Palmer and Michael Sanders; 7 great grandchildren, Brittany, William, Adrian and Logan Sanders and Emily, Jacob and Nathan Daniels; 1 great great grandchild, Sebastian Sanders. Preceded in death by his wife, Nannie Mae Womack; parents, William and Estelle Womack; 2 brothers, Shelby and Luther Womack and 1 sister, Marguerite Womack Cutrer. A resident of Kentwood died at 12:19 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. She was born January 25, 1928 in St. Helena Parish and was 85 years of age. She was a lifelong member of New Zion Baptist Church. Survived by 2 sons, James M. Blades and wife, Peggy and Cade R. Blades and wife, Lora; 2 grandchildren, Jamie Glynn Blades and Marissa Blades Triola; 3 great grandchildren; and 1 nephew, Brandon Carter. Preceded in death by husband, James B. Blades; parents, George and Virgie Needham and sister, Georgia Needham Carter.
