Bobby Forbes will be in Covington early this morning for multiple heart by-passes.  He is ready to get healthier today.  Pray for all involved in this surgery today.

Dickie Meeks, a former OFA coach, had a heart transplant early yesterday morning.  All seems to be going well.  Please pray for him and his support team as he goes through the recovery period.

Good report!  Gail Pittman McDaniel‘s surgery is reported to be very successful.  She will be at North Oaks until Thursday, is all continues to go well.  Please continue to pray.

Tish Cooper Fairburn will have her kidney surgery this morning.  She has a very positive attitude and is also expected to be in the hospital until Thursday.  Please pray for her.

Jeffrey Brister had surgery on a knee Saturday and on his shoulder that had four breaks yesterday.  Pray for a complete recovery over time.

Luther Terrell will have back surgery on Wednesday.  His procedure will be out-patient.

Pray for the Pittman/McDaniel family as Gail has brain surgery this morning at North Oaks.

Pray for Phillip Strickland and his family as he begins week two of treatment.

The Two Rivers Association WMU will meet at 10 this morning at East Fork.  The leadership team will meet at 9:00.  We will be honoring the WMU service of Rachel “Cis” Cox, Shirley Gregot Lane, and Aileen Young.

 

David and I invite you to come to the cabin Thursday night at 6:30 for a meal, a time of fellowship, enjoying some great music, and a sweet devotional and prayer period.  As I often say, “It’s my favorite time of the whole month”!  We  simply call it the Third Thursday Gathering.

Please pray for JoEllen F. Carruth of Greensburg.  She has another complication from her knee surgery, but it NOT a blood clot.  Thank the Lord for that.

Diane Turner continues to have thyroid and a-fib problems.  Please keep her in your prayers.

Dan Turner is having problems with one of the pumps he has to control seizures.  Pray this problem can be corrected.

Pray for Phillip Strickland who has started treatment.  Pray for his family too.

Tish Fairburn will be having surgery Tuesday to have a spot on her kidneys removed.  She’ll be at North Oaks.  Please pray for her.

Pray for all the families who have lost a loved one recently.

Children in Action studied about the Good Samaritan last night and went home with a band aid that said “I love my neighbor.”  I remember learning that my neighbors were not the Pritchetts and the Henrys.  Our neighbors are all people.  Do you love your neighbor or only the people next door?

Gail Morris Smith began her chemotherapy yesterday.  Please pray for her and for her family as they stick with her.

Mr. Harlon Toney is doing well.  He has an appointment on the 19th.  Thank you for praying for this man.

Sandy Wilcox went home from the hospital and is trying to eat.  She may have the needed tests later when she gets stronger.

Charlsee Hawkins, another classmate, has pneumonia.  Please pray she recovers completely soon.

Carl Wayne Stevens was moved from ICU to a step-down unit.  Pray for him as he continues to recovery from heart valve surgery.

Jeana Lee-Newton was taken to wound care and from there to Ochsner in New Orleans.  She is being treated for infection and pneumonia.  Please pray for Jeana and her family.
