Mr. Cete has been moved to 3117 at North Oaks.  He expects to be there several days.

Jimmy Schwartz and Mr. Kenneth Felker are also at North Oaks.

Beverly “Doodle” W. Watson is doing well with her treatment.  Keep her and her family in your prayers.

Pat Hoosier has done well with the latest treatment.  Pray for him as he continues treatment.

Beth M. Day is having a little more trouble with recovery from last Thursday’s finger surgery than she expected.  Pray for her as she tries not to do all the things that she usually does.

Mrs. Rena Cutrer continues to be at the St. Helena Nursing Home in Greensburg.  Pray for her and for her family.

Kelly Wayne Russell is still in ICU in Baton Rouge, but expects to be in a regular room tomorrow.  Thanks for praying him through his by-pass surgery.

Mr. Kenneth Felker was doing a little better yesterday.  He is in ICU at North Oaks.

My former student, Cindy, said they have been told her grandmother is close to her admission to heaven.  Pray for the family.

Ainsley Grance VandeVuss is at her home with her family.  Pray for a good adjustment for all of them.

Monday Evening

Patrick Hoosier had tests today that did not show the presence of any cancer.  The family is thanking God.

Kelly Wayne Russell had two bypasses.  He is doing well and did not even need a ventilator.  Keep praying.

Connor Corkern has been sedated for the last few days.  When he woke up today the first thing he did was . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .SMILE!

Mason’s appointment for next week has been cancelled so an American doctor can evaluate Mason’s condition at their annual meeting later this month.

John “Snow” Milton
(October 23, 1936 – March 12, 2013)

A resident of Roseland, he died at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. He was born October 23, 1936 in Lexie, MS and was 76 years of age. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of The Korean Conflict. He is survived by his best friend and companion for over 20 years, Lucille Cooper; son, Kevin Milton and wife, Debra; Lucille’s son, Gary Cooper and wife, Debbie; 3 grandchildren, Whitney Sykes, Bobbi Jo White and Aaron White; Lucille’s 3 grandchildren, Stephanie, Staci and Grason Cooper; 3 great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Sykes, Reece White and Jaziah White; Lucille’s 2 great-grandchildren, Gracy and Casi Cooper; brother, Dan Milton and wife, Dot, Bogalusa; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Viola Milton; 2 brothers, T. C. and Warren “Son” Milton; 2 sisters, Louise Clark and Eva Nell Carter. Simpson, 13 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Edith Eichman, Victoria, TX, Lola Kelm, Burton, TX, 4 brothers, Curtis Hempel, Georgetown, TX, Frank Hempel, Ft. Meyers, FL, Howard Hempel, Carrollton, TX, Loyd Hempel, Cuero, TX and numerous niece and nephews. Begin to pray for my grandson Mason who will have his tonsils and adenoids removed next week in Prague.  This will be outpatient surgery.

Mr. Kenneth Felker was very sick last night.  I haven’t heard anything about him this morning, but will post something later.

David and I talked with Bock Sims’ mother Sunday.  He continues to need our prayers.  His family also needs our prayers.

Wilmer “Hollis” Chambliss
(August 14, 1942 – March 7, 2013)

A very loving, kind and patient husband, father, PaPa and friend who will be dearly missed, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at his home in Kentwood. He was born August 14, 1942 in Purvis, MS and was 70 years of age. He was a joking person who enjoyed making people laugh. Mr. Chambliss served in the U. S. National Guard for 8 years and was a Fabrication Superintendent for McDermott.
