Friday Evening

Peggy Alford

Please put mom on the prayer link as she and daddy both prepare for her Knee Replacement surgery on Monday. She is not one to let others take care of her, so this will be an adjustment for her. Thank you! Wendy A. Fowler

Betty Taylor

The doctor determined Betty is having a small seepage in her retina area.  She received the first of three shots in her eye today.  This be much better than having a tumor.  Andy said they are blessed!

Connor Corkern

Connor was doing so well, the doctors have talked of possibly sending him home today.  What an improvement!

Jimmy Schwartz – From Frances Gay

After the senior lunch yesterday at The Chimes, we stopped in Hammond and located Jimmy in Room 4001.   They had moved him from step-down to intermediate care on 4th floor.   He was in good spirits and was concerned about Randy BLanchard, but I couldn’t update him on his condition.   We had a short visit but left feeling good about him.

Thursday

“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love

which you have shown toward His name,

in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

~Hebrews 6:10~

Continue to pray for “Miss” Susie Wales.  She is in telemetry at OLOL.  I don’t have her room number, but her phone number is 1-225-374-4223.

AAEO – Missionaries Say Thanks

Dear Friends,

I wish to take this opportunity to thank Southern Baptists for your prayers, and gifts through the Cooperative Program, and through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. These offerings and prayers enable me to do what the Lord has called us to do in the way we do it. It is indeed my privilege to serve the Lord in this way!

We visited “Miss” Susie Wales yesterday and loved every minute of our visit.  She will be entering the hospital about 7:00 this morning to have surgery at 9:30.  She should be in the hospital three days and in rehab for nine days.  Then, she will be living a mile east of us.  She will be our closest neighbor on the southeast side of the road.  I look forward to her stay in our neighborhood following surgery.  Keep her in your prayers.
