Monday Addition

From Debi Bales

….the prayers of his ppl have been answered.. Davids tests came back last nite Dr Lewis called after working hrs just to give us a peace of mind.. There 0 cancer cells in the lymphnode & 0 cancer cells in the spot where the cancer was located on his chest.. All the testing took Dr Lewis to right area that had to be removed & how deep she had to cut out to remove all the cancer cells.. The place on Davids chest is shocking a large deep cut was what they did in order to remove all of the Melanoma cells.. Well our God had started shrinking the tumor before she cut on him last Fri .. To her surprise what was a tumor was very small she called it a liesion. She still cut him to the margin which was stage IV .. Only for the lab reports to come back with no cancer cells in either spot.. Prayers & believers stood with us & God hear the cry & he answered!! George & I want to say thank all of u who remenbered our son & his family .. I cannot put into words how grateful we r for all the kindness shown to us & for all that took a minute out of their day to lift up David Bales.. George & I r over whelmed with the love that our church family has extented to us we love Kentwood 1st Baptist its the place to be when the storms of life invade our lives.. If u do not have a church family I invite u to come & visit .. When the word said U will know them by their love for 1 another .. That word is being manifested in the lives of the church body at K-wood 1st Baptist!! … P. S. Most important Dr Lewis told my son that all she could say was God had been at work insde of his body! WOW thank u LORD!!

Be sure to read how this song came about.  That means so much to me because this is my “stand-by” song for the difficult days of my life since I was a child.  I have banged this song out on the piano many a day.  The first few verses would be loud and harsh.  As I accepted the meaning of the song, the loudness softened and the harsh tones became sweeter.  I played many verses some days before I finally got to the sweet, soft music I needed.  I know I took my problems out on the piano, but at least I felt better and no longer felt the way I did when I started to play.  This song will always be special to me.
