and you continue to serve them.”

Bible Study – Don’t forget the ladies’ Bible study which will begin on the last Friday morning of this month.  It is based on the main character and clips from the “Lucy” series.  I’ve been previewing some of the material.  I have found great depth to the lessons which will be presented.  All ladies are invited to  attend and learn with us.

Missions – Heath Rohner of Re-Store said his greatest need is for shoes.  We are collecting gently used shoes to give him for his ministry in Amite.  If you have some shoes to share, drop them in a basket at FBC, Kentwood on Sundays or during the office hours during the week.  Our collection project for him next month will be school uniforms.  In the months following that we will collect jackets and blankets.  What a blessing you will be to some people in our area!

Last night at the Third Thursday meeting we had people from nine different churches.  It’s a good feeling to see friends, some old and some new, fellowshipping and singing together.  Even though people were from different churches, we all serve the same God!  I’m already looking forward to the next meeting.
