Pray for Ryan “Rufus” Williams’ and his family as he moves closer to rehab, rather than a hospital environment.  Thank God for all the signs of improvement they have seen.

He is not here; he has risen!

Remember how he told you,

while he was still with you in Galilee:

Jesus is the reason for the Easter season!

Please pray for our friend, Chris Primes of Amite.

It is with tons of prayers, guidance by the best Dr around and much research on my on that I have decided to go forward with the knee replacement on my left leg. This won’t be a standard knee replacement as they are going to screw rods in the bones to anchor the knee replacement to. This, despite being more invasive and painful, has a higher success rate. As this is my only leg left, obviously I am extremely worried. However, I’ve given it over to God and will do my best to not worry or question my decision. I tell you all this because I know I have some super prayer warriors out there. I need you guys now! For those that stuck with this post till the end, thank you and God Bless! Please keep Renee Renee Bennett Primes and Chris Primes and Allison Primes in your prayers too as they worry too. The bottom line is I can’t live my life out of a medicine bottle and the pain is too great to not do this.

Estelle Raborn is back in North Oaks.  Please pray for this lady and her extended family.  If you have the opportunity to see her at North Oaks, ask for Mary Raborn.

Monday

But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer.

Again the high priest asked him,

“Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”

“I am,” said Jesus.

“And you will see the Son of Man

sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One

and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless,

Christ died for the ungodly.

Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person,

though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Friday Morning Bible Study – Ezekiel 5

Missions March – April 23rd during morning worship

Sunday School (9:15 Sundays),  Kids for Christ (6:00 Sundays) and Children in Action (6:00 Wednesdays) as well as VBS and other activities are really impacting our children in a big way.  May God continue to reap the harvest of the seeds that are planted in young lives.  Two evidences yesterday were another profession of faith and the children’s portion of the program last night.  We are so blessed with precious children who love God.

“Jesus, Messiah”, the program last night, was wonderful!!!  The choir is talented and dedicated.  All the support people for narration, technology, etc. highlighted the efforts of the choir.  The children were precious!  It seems like I’ve started to count our blessings.

Be blessed and be a blessing this special season of the year.

Anna Lee
