Thursday/Posted Early

I received a message that the Hatchels arrived safely to their home.  The three bags that didn’t arrive with them are scheduled to get to them in the morning.  Thank you to all of you who have prayed to them and us as the Hatchels make another transition in their life.

Virgie Morgan’s other sister also got a good report.  Surgery will not be required.

Wednesday

Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed;

save me and I will be saved,

for you are the one I praise.

~Jeremiah 17:14~

Today, let’s think of all the situations each of us face in life.  Let’s focus of trusting Jesus in all that comes to us.  The peace the comes with with trust will carry us trough some difficult days.

Our Hatchel family members are still traveling to get home.  Thank you for your continued prayers for them.

Hatchel Family

Pray for the Hatchel family as they return to Europe today and tomorrow.  The will go though four airports and have numerous pieces of luggage and a dog.

I thank God they had a special assignment in the States for the past year and the opportunities we had to visit with them.  Now, I thank God for the opportunity for them to go “home” and do the work God has for them.

Mrs. Gloria Houeye

Mrs. Virgie Morgan said that her sister’s procedure at the Heart Hospital in Lacombe went well yesterday.  One sister has done well this week.  Now, let’s pray for the other sister’s health issue.

Praise the Lord. Gloria came through with flying colors. She did well and will be home tomorrow if all goes well the rest of today and tonight. She is in Louisiana Heart Hospital in Lacombe and will stay in ICU tonight. They will get her up tomorrow and take out all the tubes and if she does ok will come home. Thanks for all your thoughts and expecially your prayers.

Mike Lambert

Mike Lambert is hospitalized at St. Tammany and will have quadruple by-passes today.  Please pray for Mike, his family, and the medical staff caring for him.

Children of Spring Creek Baptist Church at Camp (Written by Eric Latham)

What an awesome night at children’s camp! The presence of God was definitely felt.
The Pastor opened up his message by asking the KIDS to find a verse of scripture that is special to them and has helped them. Then he had them stand up and read it as loudly as they can.
What happened next was a God moment!
In a crowd of nearly 1,000, hands went up all over the place. One by one, they stood up and read their verses out loud. These were 3rd through 6th graders who were standing up willingly, excited about the WORD, confident in the WORD.
I could do nothing but look around in awe at what was taking place!
So many stood up that the pastor eventually had to have everyone who remained standing, waiting to share their verse, turn to their group and read their verse out loud. It was a moment where you could absolutely feel the presence of the Lord!!!
His word is strong, powerful, and alive!

There will be NO BIBLE STUDY this morning!  Our Hatchel family is here for a few days!

Martha P. Drago

Today I completed a journey that started exactly nine months ago. When this all started I thought it was going to be all doom and gloom. I imagined the absolute worst of times and it would have been had I not surrendered completely to God. The last nine months have been a blessing to me in so many ways! I’m not saying it hasn’t been difficult at times or without some tears, but I have learned to trust God more than I ever thought possible, I have learned to be grateful for today, God has my tomorrow. I have seen what the power of prayer can do, I have realized what a truly wonderful family I have and God has placed amazing people in my path! I have learned that my God was bigger than anything I was facing. I have also learned that no matter what you are going through, there are people who are in tougher situations. Pray for them! I have learned that I have some pretty awesome friends too! Friends that offered to drive me for treatment, friends who lent shoulders to cry on, friends who prayed for me and asked others to pray for me, a friend who showed up on my first visit to Mary Bird because I had a melt down when I saw the words “cancer center” and it hit me why I was really there!!! I am so grateful for my church family!! The love, support and prayers I received from them was phenomenal !!! They are an awesome group of people!!!

So I want to finish by saying that I am truly grateful and humbled by the prayers and support I have received! Please continue to pray for me ( and my sweet Macy) because I know how powerful prayer is!!!! Remember that no matter what lies ahead…God is already there!!!!

She is clothed with strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future. Proverbs 31:25

Great day today! The trial produced positive results. Dan will undergo another day of trial testing tomorrow with a larger dose to obtain more objective results. Keep the prayers coming folks!  (Written by Ladd Turner)

Boots is home and back at work.  At his appointment yesterday, he learned he may never know what caused his problem, but he is doing well now.  The Prescotts appreciate all the love and concern shown to them during this difficult week.
