Ken Roberts

From Cyndi

No change. Kidneys a little worse. They seem satisfied with the new device. Slight improvements in some areas. No change in others. Nothing really to report. He is fragile. Keep praying!!

Please continue to intervene in Ken’s behave and strength for the family.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

He did well with the placement of Impella which is a temporary VAD. Balloon pump coming out.
This was done in an effort to improve or maximize his cardiac output bc his kidneys are starting to take a hit. It remains much of the same….

It’s minute by minute, hour by hour…. Exact words…. He is going to declare himself either way in the next few days! So again, we wait and Trust God. I believe Ken is fighting & wants to live!!! He has all this amazing technology now and expert care…. We need prayers more than ever!!!! Gods will be done!!! The selfish part of all of us is wanting so desperately for him to turn than corner and hear some positive news!!! Praying for Kens miracle!!!!!!
Ok friends praying without ceasing, pray with great faith XOXO

Thursday Afternoon

It has been a long week, but one that ended well.  We appreciate all those who checked on us while we were getting David some needed tests and treatment.  Things happen so quickly at times.  It became all I could do to keep up with what I needed to do for David. We were in the La. Heart Hospital in Lacombe, but just got home this afternoon.  We appreciate all the prayers and contacts.  The care was wonderful.  God was faithful to us and guided us with decisions/procedures as they came along.

To top it off, today is our 48th anniversary.  Instead of going out for supper as planned, it is being delivered to us at 5 P.M.  We have been so blessed for all these years and still are.

Wednesday

In him we have redemption

through his blood,

the forgiveness of sins,

in accordance with the riches

of God’s grace

~Ephesians 1:7~

Walter Dykes will see his surgeon today to determine what and when to do something about his heart blockage(s).  Pray for him and Kathy.

Mrs. Hollis Ann Hayden is hospitalized at Hood Memorial following a slight stroke. Thanks to her grandson, Adam, for getting her there in a timely manner.  She may soon begin rehab.  Please keep her in your prayers.

Carol New’s sister, Flo, did well with her surgery.  Please keep her in your prayers.

It’s time for schools to begin again.  Please pray for all who are/will be making that transition.  Pray for growth in knowledge, character, and moral values of each one.

Thursday – Mid-day

David had two procedures at the heart hospital in Lacombe  and the doctor reported the results to me before 7:45 this morning.  The results?  There were no blood clots and the heart is now back in rhythm.  Thanks to all who have prayed for him and to the doctors and wonderful staff at Lacombe.  Now, at 11:30, I have driven us home with a stop in Amite to eat something light, gumbo from Mike’s.  We are blessed in so many ways.
