Mr. and Mrs. John Alan Blackwell are settled in at Moss Point and happy to be there.  Continue to keep them in your prayers.

Pray for Andy and Betty Taylor as they continue to face much uncertainly in their lives.  Pray Andy’s right hand will be better and pain-free soon.

Continue to pray for Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Anthony.  Today, he will be seeing his doctor and could possibly be put back in the hospital.

Susan Rimes continues to do better than a couple weeks ago.  Keep her in your prayers.

Pray for Sherry Day who has been sick for the last few days.  She is beginning to see the results of her medication.

Infant Ryleigh Sophia Rush was born on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Women’s Hospital, Baton Rouge, and went to be with the Lord that same day.

Ryleigh Sophia is survived by her parents, Daniel Rush and Brandy Wallace; 2 brothers, Ethan Wallace & Aidan Rush; grandparents, Dr. Richard and Beverly Wallace, Lori and Lamar Glaze & Willie and Linda Rush; great-grandparents, Nannie Becnel, William and Yvonne Chapman; numerous aunts, uncles and extended family.

Preceded in death by great-grandparents, Yves P. Becnel, Jr., Leroy Wallace, Joseph and Edris Fontenot and William and Mabel Rush.

Graveside Celebration of Life Services will be at Briar Patch Cemetery, Loranger, on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Brian Gould and Bro. Donald Chance officiating. Interment to follow in Briar Patch Cemetery.

Pray for Rene Deck of Osyka.  She’s had trouble with her back all week, but wants to be well enough to teach her Sunday School class tomorrow.

Andrew and Kara Walker Faller proudly announce the birth of their second son, John Walker Faller.  He was 8 lb. 6 oz. and 20 in. long.  Both mother and baby are doing well.  Rev. Dennis Walker is the extra proud grandpaw.

Pray for all the ladies attending the state WMU conference in Bedico today to learn how to strengthen their WMU and how to better minister in their local churches.

Tomorrow night at FBC, Kentwood we will have a potluck supper in connection with the Sunday School training offered at 5:30.

Today is the day for the fundraiser for Mrs. Mary Alice Blackwell at Brown-Morris parking lot.

Mr. John and “Miss” Mary Alice Blackwell have now moved to Moss Point, MS near their daughter, Carolyn.  Continue to pray for all of them as they make adjustments.

No arrangements are available at this time for Mr. Bud Kliesch.  I will post then when they are finalized.

A former resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 11:10 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at St. Helena Parish Nursing Home in Greensburg, LA. She was born September 23, 1923 in Oakes, ND and was 88 years of age. She is survived by daughter, Mary Munt Rohner, Greensburg, LA, grandchildren, James Gregory Rohner, Chicago, IL, Paige R. Kluck and her husband, Mark, Suffolk, VA, Kip Leon Rohner and his wife, Becky, New Orleans, LA, Blair R. Bongiovanni and her husband, Brad, Baton Rouge, LA, great-grandchildren, Mark, Ryan, Jeremy, Rebecca, Abigail, and Matthew Kluck, and Molly James Bongiovanni, brother, William Pfeifer. Preceded in death by husband, James Dudley Munt, son-in-law, James Rohner, 2 sisters, Angela Pfeifer and Patricia Brown; 6 brothers, Cyril, Richard, Victor, Donald, Robert and Walter Pfeifer, her pets, Stupid, Buzzy, Tico, and Pepe. Jadon has now gone seven months without surgery.  Remember how many he was having before surgery?  Remember how hard it was to think of the surgery he was facing?  Be thankful his parents had the strength to do the right (hard) thing and surrender Jadon to the surgeons.  God has surely blessed his little life!

Please continue to pray for Nikki Newell.  She continues to have seizures, even though they are not as frequent as they were at first.

Mrs. Elaine Bennett passed away last night.  Please be in prayer for her family, especially her daughter, Kitty, who has been by her side for a long time.

Pray for those involved with the opening of another school year.  Today is the big for day for many of them.

Pray for Susan Rimes.  Tests have revealed more kidney stones.

Pray for Kay Forman who was stung near an eye.

Pray for Paxton Wilson who still has swelling from a fall last week.  Paxton is the son of Bro. Michael and Ms. Brandy, the new youth and children minister at FBC, Kentwood.

Thank God for the seventeen (17) people who will be baptized in the creek at East Fork Sunday.  Lot of good things have happened there in recent months.  May God continue to work in the lives of the people at EGBC.

Danny Ray Horne passed away.  Please pray for the family as they face the coming days,

Mrs. Hilda Taylor, mother-in-law of Susan Taylor  of Ponchatoula took a turn for the worse yesterday afternoon.  Please pray.

Pray for the Hornsby family of Greensburg.  Help them to find peace at some point.

Continue to pray for revival at East Fork.  They will meet again at 7:00 tonight.  The Osyka youth will be presenting a skit.
