Mr. Phillis Harrell’s left hand is finally beginning to improve.  Pray he regains more use of it.  Mrs. Annie Belle Harrell still has such a sweet spirit despite all the trials of her physical body.  Please pray for this wonderful could will will be married 71 years in August.

Mrs. Shirley Frazier looked better yesterday, even though she continues her year-long battle with her back problem.  Pray for continued improvement.

Marsha Bankston is fighting for her life.  Please pray for family and friends as they go through this battle with her.  This is such a change from the Marsha I talked with Tuesday afternoon.

Being a Christian in America has been easy compared to other countries.  Pray for our nation that it will remain a strong Christian nation.  Read how one man’s testimony has influenced many others.

A resident of Roseland, she died at 10:35 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at her home. She was born April 21, 1941 in Independence and was 71 years of age. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Services conducted by Rev. David Cutrer. Interment Arcola-Roseland Cemetery, Roseland. She is survived by 3 daughters, Brenda Miller, Roseland, Donna Wright and husband, Lloyd, Roseland and Connie Bennett and husband, T.J., St. Helena Parish; 1 sister, Bonnie Johnson and husband, Joe, Gonzales; 1 brother, Billy Lambert and husband, Liz, Ponchatoula; 6 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
