“I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ.
For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith.”
~Philippians 3:9 NLT~
When we got to church yesterday, I learned that this is the week for the Two Rivers Senior Adult Revival. I changed the time of working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday to 1 P.M. to avoid a conflict. Now, we will be painting inside the lids of shoe boxes and folding the boxes at 1 P.M. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Everyone is invited to help us prepare for packing the shoeboxes. It’s always fun to work in a group. The greatest benefit is that boys and girls will get gifts and the opportunity to learn about Jesus!
Senior Adult Revival services begin at 10 A.M.
- Monday – New Zion
- Tuesday – Montpelier
- Wednesday – Kentwood
Next Sunday, there will be a Fifth Sunday Singing at 6 P.M. at FBC, Kentwood.
Pleasee add Smiley Conerly’s name to your prayer list. He has been having some issues lately and will be seeing a cardiologist this morning in Hattisburg.
Today, I am thanking God that David and I were able to go to both the morning AND EVENING worship services yesterday. It’s been a long time! That shows that despite his serious and non-curable health problems, he is better than he has been. To God be the glory!
Scripture Writing – September 23 – Psalm 51: 7-12.
Prayers bring about changes in results and in people.
