Wash and make yourselves clean.
Take your evil deeds out of my sight;
stop doing wrong.
Learn to do right;
seek justice.
Defend the oppressed.
Take up the cause of the fatherless;
plead the case of the widow.
~Isaiah 1:16-17 (NIV)~

What man among you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?
Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?
If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,
how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”
~Matthew 7:9-11 HCSB~

Looking ahead, there will be an associational WMU meeting at East Fork Baptist Church on Monday, January 16th at 10 A.M. We will honor WMU members who moved to heaven during 2016. Our meeting will be followed by a covered dish meal.
Last night in missions class, the children talked about how to be a blessing to others. That’s something for all of us to ponder today.
