My mom is finally home from the hospital! It was suppose to be a 24 hour stay and ended up being a week and a day. Prayers for a peaceful, uneventful weekend of rest and healing. Thank you!!

• Tuesday – “Young” Ladies Birthday Party
• Friday – Bible Study followed by preparing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child

If you can help, please come to the fellowship hall at 12:45.  We would appreciate all the help we can get as we get ready for our packing party.  Friday, we will be folding the flat boxes into the proper size and shape and applying labels.  Then, the boxes will be stored until the night of the packing party.

We will need a number of boxes to hold the shoeboxes.  The size we need is that of the boxes that hold packs of paper towels or bathroom tissue (larger than copy paper boxes and smaller than refrigerator boxes).

Ten ladies helped sort and inventory the items turning in for Operation Christmas Child yesterday.  We got the job done and are so please to know the items we will need to focus on getting in the next few weeks.  I’ll have that list for you real soon.

 

Yesterday’s devotional about 2 A.M. friends fit perfectly into the Bible study lesson yesterday!  I love the way God’s timing is always right.
