Wednesday

Then I realized that

it is good and proper for a man

to eat and drink,

and to find satisfaction

in his toilsome labor under the sun

during the few days of life

God has given him–

for this is his lot.

~Ecclesiastes 5:18~

Macy Gueldner

Macy still feels rotten, although the vomiting has stopped. We were about to be discharged, then her fever spiked. Her ANCs are not too great at 800. So, she’s getting admitted, and the routine begins… cultures, antibiotics, fluids…. and we wait. Jeremy and Cate will keep going to school/gym and I’ll stay in BR with Macy.

This was written by Macy’s mom, Mary Catherine.  In addition to her usual back problems, she also has a foot problem.  Macy will be in OLOL.

Koltyn Gafford

PRAYERS NEEDED

As most of you know Koltyn’s seizures had been getting worse, so last Monday his Neurologist started him on 25mg of Topamax every night for 1 week, I was not thrilled. Yesterday we started him in 25mg twice a day. Over the past week we have noticed many different changes in Koltyn that we knew could possibly happen. His seizures have gotten worse, he doesn’t react towards our voice as much as he did before, one eye will deviate outward at times, he doesn’t move around as much, starts to cry (with real tears, which hasn’t happened to much since his accident) for no reason. He just doesn’t seem to be like his normal happy self. I have put a call into his Neurologist this morning and now just waiting to hear back, wondering what our next step may be. I HATE SEIZURES! We just want our happy lil man back.

Logan McGregor

Let’s continue to pray for Logan McGregor as he fights to overcome injuries sustained over the weekend.  One life touches so many others, so please pray for Logan’s many family members and friends as they travel this journey together.

Rev. Keith Rhodes (Read today’s Scripture again.)

Bro. Keith has felt a calling to work with children in an educational setting. He has gone to part-time service at “The Simple Church” in order that he can teach fourth grade, across the hall from Lori’s fourth grade class. He was all excited at the start of school and too tired to move by the time he got home. Welcome to the world of teaching, Bro. Keith. Pray for him as he gives his all to be a Christian influence for children as he teaches them.
