Sunday

Mrs. Lavern Carter passed away Friday night.  An obituary will be included when one is available.  I was told the wake would be Monday night and the funeral and burial at New Zion Baptist Church.  Please pray for this family.

Caleb Smith, son of Dr. and Mrs. Danny Smith will speak at New Zion Baptist Church this morning.  Please pray for him.

WMU quarterly meeting Monday at Hillsdale Baptist Church at 10:00 A.M.  The speaker will be Jennie Alford Hatchel whose family will be  returning to the mission field the next week.  There will be a covered dish lunch following the meeting.  Everyone is invited to come.
