Tim Jones, Sr.

Timothy Wayne Jones, Sr., 68, resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away Friday July 3, 2015 at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond, LA.

Mr. Timothy is survived by his wife Frieda Melton Jones; sons Timothy Wayne Jones, Jr. and Charles Bradley Jones; brothers Robert T. Jones III and Andy Jones; his sister Chelly Blailock and a granddaughter Raynee Grace Jones.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Tombs Jones, Jr. and Eva Pettigrew Jones and a daughter Mara Melton Jones.

Services will be Wednesday July 8, 2015 at White Sand Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 am and running until the funeral service at 11:00 am. Rev. Ken Howe and David Steele will officiate with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

A resident of Chesbrough, she died on Friday, July 3, 2015. She was born November 14, 1973 in McComb, MS and was 41 years of age. She is survived by her son, Patrick “Boc” Sims; 2 daughters, Logan Moneyhun and Jasie Sims; father, Pat Hendry; 2 brothers, Earl Clark, Jr. and Travis Hendry and wife, Hannah; sister, Julie Hutchinson and husband, Robert; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Welch Hendry; grandparents, LJ and Barbara Welch, Clayton and Hughla Hendry; 2 nieces, Mary-Margaret and Leslie Marie Hendry; nephew, Lige Leslie Hendry. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite from 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2015. Services conducted by Rev. Greg Stewart. Interment Hyde Cemetery, Chesbrough.
