A resident of Kentwood died at 4:20 AM on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at St. Helena Parish Hospital in Greensburg. She was born July 4, 1920 in St. Helena Parish and was 94 years of age. She is survived by 3 sons, John Robert Butler, Albany, Dicky Butler, Prairieville and C. Sidney Butler, Spring Creek; 8 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, David P. Lea; and brothers, Elton Alford and Layton Alford. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 6 PM until 9 PM, Friday, and from 9 AM until religious services at 11 AM Saturday, January 17, 2015. Services conducted by Rev. Gibbie McMillan.
