Thursday

“But you will receive power

when the Holy Spirit has come on you;

and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem,

in all Judea

and Samaria,

and to the ends of the earth.”

~Acts 1:8, HCSB~

Sherry Day’s surgery went well.  She’s at home now and expecting results of the biopsy Monday.  Pray for her as she waits these long days.  May she receive the comfort and assurance of God’s presence and our love during this time.

Another friend has just learned she has breast cancer.  Please add Martha Pevey Drago to your prayer list.

Cindy Juban, Andy Taylor’s sister, also needs our prayers as she continues her battle.  Doctors now say she needs an angiogram and stent.

Continue to pray for Bobby Lawson, Jimmy Schwartz,  Ray and Beverly Blackwell, Mrs. Theople Hurst, Mrs. Kathryne Kuss, Mrs. Catherine Yarborough, Ed and Jeannette Maghee, Phillip and Annie Bell Harrell, Evelyn Bridges, Susie Wales, and Mrs. Elizabeth Carol New.  All these people are at home.

Some people in the nursing home we can pray for today are:  Maxine Turner, Frances Strickland, Julia Forrest, and Angie Redmond.

  • “Share the Good News that Chirst is Born” – I have been unable to locate the lyrics this morning, but I hope you remember this song and it sticks in you head today.  I suppose it is in my head, not my computer today.  May you be blessed to know and do what the song says.

Remember, “Share the Good News that Chirst is Born” today.
