Thursday

All humanity will come to You,

the One who hears prayer.”

~Psalm 65:2, HCSB~

I’ve had six  extra people in the house and shorted you on some of these updates as I enjoyed my family.  They have continued on their trip and are presently at NOBTS before their next stop in Florida before settling in Virginia for a year.

Mrs. Jean Easley

Jean is doing better.  She has been able to get off the vent.  Please continue to pray for her, her family, and the medical staff caring for her.

Mrs. Della McDaniel

“Miss” Della continues to be in rehab in Greensburg.  Please keep her in your prayers.

Mr. & Mrs. Phillip Harrell

Mr. & Mrs. Ed Magehee

Mr. & Mrs. Joe Williams

Please continue to pray for each one of these three special couples who served the Lord for many years at our church.

Mrs. Betty Catherine Hatcher

“Miss” Betty continues to improve.  Hopefully, she will soon be able to manage the steps at church.  Her class goes to her house once a month to have Sunday School with her.

Mr. John Alan Blackwell and Mr. Ray Blackwell

This father and son are both recovering from surgery and doing well.  Please pray for them.

Tom and Gail Brister

Tom is recovering from his surgery that was Wednesday a week ago.  Gail is still working to recover from her arm injuries in a fall about six months ago.  If they are not on your prayer list, please add them.

Debi Bales and her mother

Debbie has had some minor problems while her mother is having some greater issues.  Pray for both of them, please.

Johnny Santangello

Johnny Santangello continues with treatment and is doing well.  Please pray for his entire family as they “travel this journey” with him.

Kathy Jo Thompson

Kathy Jo is dealing with headaches following her latest surgery.  Pray she can soon be free of the headaches.

Mr. Burnell Simpson and son, Wayne Simpson

Both of these men have improved and are back in their normal routine.

Mike Hurst

Mike is feeling better.  Thank-you for your prayers for him as he continues to “fight his battle”.

Sherman Cutrer

Sherman Cutrer is now recovering at home.  I look forward to the day his arms are better and he can play his mandolin again.

Thank-you for your faithfulness in reading and praying.  I hope we do a better job of praying and helping to meet needs when we see some written names.

Of course, the names of all the people are not here.  Sometimes, I am unaware of names I should include or do not have an update.  Some people have asked not to be listed.  If you know of people I do not include, please pray.

I think we all know the power of our prayers.
