I learned this hymn from the youth of my church about thirty years ago.  They learned it at camp and passed it on to the church when they returned.

“Young” Ladies Birthday Party

The “young” ladies who have/had May birthdays will be honored tomorrow at The Cafe at 11:00 A.M.  Come have lunch with us and enjoy visiting with some special ladies.  Ladies being honored are Judy Liberto, Wilma Smith, Firma Kay Schneeweiss, Marilyn Hart, Verna Callihan, Margaret Oliver, Kathryn Kuss, and Diane Turner.

Vacation Bible School

VBS at FBC,K will begin one week from today.  I look forward to seeing all the bring faces and working with the children again.  Contact the church at 229-8111 for more information, but not today.  The church office is closed today.

Memorial Day

Today is a day to remember and honor those who gave their lives in serving in our military protecting the freedoms of our country!  American flags in our communities should be a reminder if you are “out and about”.
