“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost.”

~Luke 19:10~

Mrs. Lucy Goynes

Debi Bales asks that we pray for her mother, “Miss” Lucy.  She fell yesterday morning.  At North Oaks, they admitted her because she has pneumonia.  Please pray.

Mrs. Elwood Courtney

“Miss” Hortance fell Sunday and broke her hip.  She is at Ochsner in Baton Rouge where she had surgery yesterday.  The Courtneys live in Holden and are the parents of David’s sister-in-law, Janie Alford.  Both of Janie’s parents are in their 90’s.

Mrs. Shirley Frazier

“Miss” Shirley is about the same.  She looks good and is certainly entertained by her granddaughter.  Caiden brings her lots of love, joy, and entertainment.

Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Harrell

Mr. Phillip looks good.  He is always so pleasant and appreciative of visitors.  “Miss” Annie Bell will be going to the doctor in Covington today to see if her leg is healed enough for the boot cast to be removed.  She is having trouble with a nagging cough and will be seen by a specialist.

Mrs. Hellen Morris

Lauree said her mother is content at Kentwood rehab where she is getting some physical therapy.  With improvement, she will be able to return to Spring Creek.

Have I not commanded you?
Be strong and courageous.
Do not be afraid;
for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 NIV

“In Times Like These”

http://www.allthelyrics.com/lyrics/ruth_cye_jones/in_times_like_these-lyrics-914155.html

We all have “those days” when everything seems to go wrong, but Jesus is the same and always there for us.  He is like the anchor in the devotional.  Learn to depend on Him.
