Lucille Grace Stevens Davis
(December 29, 1935 – March 30, 2014)

“A Mother’s Love Grows Forever” A native of St. Helena Parish and a resident of Amite, passed away at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero on Sunday, March 30, 2014. She was born December 29, 1935 in Hillsdale, LA and was 78 years of age. She was a graduate of Woodland School in 1953 and Southeastern Beauty School. She was a hair dresser for a number of years and a portrait artist for the family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Survived by husband, E. Don Davis, Amite; daughters, Mona Kay Davis, Amite and Donna June Davis Mills and husband, Robert, Amite; grandchildren, Shawn and Zandi Hudspeth and LeAnne and Jeramy Malnar; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Danny Stevens and wife, Patricia, Jackson, LA, Dexter Stevens and wife, Nannette, Jackson, LA and Gaylon Stevens, Pride, LA. Preceded in death by parents, Clayton and Jessie Stevens; brothers, Billy Wayne Stevens and Donald Nelson Stevens; and a sister, Laura Delorse Stevens. Visitation at Kedron Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2014. Services conducted by Rev. Jacob Williams. Interment Kedron Baptist Cemetery, Amite.
