“For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance,
so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.”
~2 Corinthians 1:5, NASB~
Mrs. Annie Bell Harrell
Mrs. Annie Bell Harrell fell at home and broke her ankle in two places. She has had surgery at St. Tammany Hospital. Please pray for her, for Mr. Phillip, and for the family, especially Phyllis.
Carol New
I have good news today. Instead of reporting another fall, I can tell you Carol successfully has started and accomplished walking outside. Join me in thanking God for this recent success in her life.
Lisa Garner Terrell (formerly of the East Fork community)
Lisa has been accepted for treatment at M.D. Anderson in Houston. Pray for her as she begins the process at the end of this week. Lisa is one of my former students from my Oak Forest days.
Johnnie “Lil Man” Santangelo
Johnnie, a young adult, was diagnosed with a brain tumor last week. He is the son of Johnnie and Cheryl Sangangelo, both of who are widely known. “Lil Man” was home for the weekend, but hopes to be traveling to M.D. Anderson real soon. Please add your prayers. I did not teach him, but I taught next door to his mother at IHS for eight years when Johnnie was a young child.
Hobby Lobby & Supreme Court
Pray for Hobby Lobby and the Supreme Court as a decision will be made concerning the government forcing a business to provide insurance that provides for abortions for its employees. This is a major attack on freedom of religion in our country.

If you are getting a “big head of self-importance”, pay close to the words of that hymn. It will help you realize your unimportance compared to our mighty God.
