Thursday

“God is faithful.

He will not allow the temptation

to be more than you can stand.

When you are tempted,

he will show you a way out

so that you can endure.”

~1 Corinthians 10:13b~

Mrs. Ruby Dillon

“Miss” Ruby was slightly better last night.  Let’s pray the light of this day finds her much improved.  I hope most of us will be able to avoid taking a turn with this “bug”.   She saw a doctor yesterday and is at home now.

Mrs. Kathryn Kuss

“Miss” Katheryn was feeling much better last night.  She will stay in the hospital long enough to get a test scheduled for Monday done.  Thank God for her improvement.  She’s in room 4404.

Wendell Miller

J. C.’s brother continues to have problems with his heart, so Monday he will have a stent put in a heart vessel.  Let’s pray this will give him improved health.  The Surgery will be at OLOL in Baton Rouge.

Donnie Travis

Donnie Travis of Arcola will be hospitalized at North Oaks so he can have two by-passes in his heart Monday.  Let’s pray the doctors can again patch him up and keep him going.

Mrs. Ivy Jean Womack

Pray for “Miss” Ivy Jean as she goes to learn about the treatment plan she will need.  Your prayers will be appreciated.

Third Thursday

Thursday (today), we will have the Thursday Thursday meeting at the cabin at 6:30 P.M.  We hope you will join us.  James Rimes will be sharing a devotional through word and song.

Friday’s Bible Study

We are studying the Bible using a segment form Bonanza.  It is very interesting this way.  After our study Friday, we will eat at The Cafe in Kentwood.  It is never too late to join because each segment “stands alone”.  We meet at 10:00 in the fellowship hall of FBC, K.

I thank God for the change in the weather.  It seems to have given people a chance to get outside and enjoy God’s beautiful world rather than stay inside all the time.  Have a fantastic day.  Thanks for praying for these and other needs you may be aware of.
