A resident of Kentwood, he died at on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Hood Memorial Hospital in Amite. He was born March 8, 1941 in Livingston and was 72 years of age. He is survived by his wife, Madge Simeon; 4 sons, John Simeon and wife, Kacy, Mark Simeon and wife, Rae Lynn, Matthew Simeon and wife, Brandy, and Luke Simeon and wife, Debbie, all of Kentwood; daughter, Lisa Fletcher, Colyell; sister, Mavis Hoyt, Livingston; 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Leona Simeon; son, Valmond Simeon, Jr.; granddaughter, Autmn Simeon; brother, Dal Simeon. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Services conducted by Rev.
