Iris T. Cunningham
(April 4, 1929 – January 6, 2014)

A lifelong resident of Roseland, died doing one of the things she loved the most, water aerobics, on Monday, January 6, 2014 in Hammond. She was born April 4, 1929 in Roseland and was 84 years of age. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Roseland. She loved to listen to country and gospel music. Survived by 2 daughters, Selma Miller Babin and husband, Dale and Vicki Cunningham Gully and husband, Steve; 3 grandchildren, Darby Vick and wife, Melanie, Thomas Gully and Michael Gully and wife, Donna; and 1 great grandson, Cody Vick. Preceded in death by husband, Otis K. Cunningham; mother, Nora Harris and husband, Frank Harris; father, Charlie Tate and wife, Clara Tate; step-son, Otis Edward Cunningham; and brother, Emerson Wroten. Visitation at First Baptist Church of Roseland, from 12 Noon until religious services at 2 PM on Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Services conducted by Rev. Byron Humphrey.
