Jack Frank Granger, Sr.
(December 23, 1924 – December 7, 2013)
A resident of Roseland, he died on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 23, 1924 in Pine Grove and was 88 years of age. He is survived by his 5 daughters, Barbara Morgan, Roseland, Becky Granger, Amite, Shirley Chadwick, Marie Horton and Rita Sandifer, all of Florida; 9 sons, James Wayne Granger, Missouri, Jack “Catfish” Granger, Jr., Amite, Floyd J. Granger, Independence, Bill Granger, Magnolia, MS, David Granger, Albany, Earl McCarroll, Springfield, Gary McCarroll, Roseland, Edward Granger, Roseland and Doug Granger, Mississippi; 2 brothers, Alfred Granger and J. E. Granger; 1 sister, Camille Granger; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Granger; 2 sons, Jack “Randy” Granger and Jules L. “J.L.” Granger; parents, Jules and Margie Granger; 5 brothers, Jody, G.R., Huey, William and Glenn Granger; 2 sisters, Gladys Sanders and Eloise Fletcher. Visitation at First Pentecostal Church of Roseland from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Services conducted by Rev. David Cutrer and Rev. Jesse Cutrer. Interment Arcola-Roseland Cemetery, Arcola.
