A resident of Kentwood, died at 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at his home in Kentwood. He was born May 23, 1934 in St. Helena Parish and was 79 years of age. Survived by his wife, Kathryn Lea Easley; children, Dale Easley and wife, Renee, Alan Easley and wife, Viola and Robert Easley and wife, Debby; grandchildren, Darla Simpson and husband, Mark, Jimmie Easley and wife, Julie, David Easley, Robert Wayne Easley and wife, Karlie, Austin Easley and girlfriend, Brianna Brister, Jewell Easley, Cody Powers and girlfriend, Lauren Roberts, Dillion Powers, Austin Powers, Travis Crouchet, Shadow Crouchet, Paige Crouchet, Scott Crouchet, Tami Tolar, Heather Brumfield and Monty Barnes; like an adoptive son, Buddy Dupuy; great grandchildren, Katlyn Simpson, Claire Simpson, David Simpson, Jaci Easley, Jorja Easley, Josie Easley, Isabella Powers, Dominic Powers, Caleb Roberts, Lexi Brumfield, Alli Brumfield, Bret Brumfield, Hali Brumfield, Zandyn Tolar, Bo Barnes, Blaine Banes and Lexi Crouchet. Preceded in death by parents, Jimmie Jackson and Jewell Kirby Easley and brother, Elton Easley. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2013, and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2013. Services conducted by Rev. Joe Day. Interment New Zion Cemetery, Kentwood. Pallbears will be Jimmie Easley, David Easley. Robert Easley, Austin Easley, Dillon Powers, Cody Powers and Mark Simpson.
