Wednesday

“Rejoice with those who rejoice,

and weep with those who weep.”

~Romans 12:14, NKJV~

Jadon Pailet‘s surgery went well yesterday.  Pray for him today as his family tries to keep him a little less active today.

Jerry Doughty was at MD Anderson again.  He learned his cancer is in remission.  Thank God for answering prayers for Jerry.

Infant John Varnado‘s surgeryies will be this week.  Here’s an update on him.

Little John has Hypo Plastic Right Heart. He also has Single Ventrical
with Double Outlet Ventrical, which is extremely rare. It has to do
with how the blood is flowing, it’s kind of clogged. They will put a
Catheter in from his groin to get the blood flowing. The catheter will
go into the PFO flap of the heart and expand to open the flap for
proper blood flow. They will put the catheter in tomorrow afternoon.
They will do Norwood surgery, where they put the shunt in his heart
next. That may be Thursday, but will most likely be Friday morning
between 10 and 11.

Baby Graham

Graham and his mother are getting back into the groove. He scrambles and climbs everywhere, and she chases him. I can’t look at that boy without giving thanks. We all want to hold him all the time! His legs and arms are getting some meat on them, too. Bath time everybody holds their breath but Graham. He has no fear of water. Oh, well…

Jesse Dean

Pray for Jesse (and Majel) as he has shoulder surgery today.

Miranda Foster’s mother is running a fever.  Pray the fever can be cleared.

Operation Christmas Child

The time to pack shoeboxes for children around the world is growing short.  If your church isn’t participating, check some of the other churches in your area.  The main thing is to participate and make a difference in a young life.

Thankfulness – Day 13 – Warm Home

I’m thankful to wake up in a warm home of this day of our first 2013 freeze.  Many people, including both of our children, live in colder climates and have already experienced this their “first freeze”.  I’m also thankful for the warm feeling of love and compassion in my home.  It the spirit of warmth that pleases me most!
