“I waited patiently for the Lord,
and He turned to me and heard my cry for help.”
~Psalm 40:1~
Today is going to be a special day – 11-12-13!
I know of some people who will be attending this event Thursday and thought more of you might be interested. Check out “Blessing of the Hunt” on Facebook. Say of prayer for those working to honor God as well as provide safety information. food, and clean entertainment. Thank God for a church that has continued this project for ten years. It is outreach for them. What an outreach!

Yes, I have shared this hymn before, but we can never hear it too often. The story about overcoming made me decide to share this hymn again.
Thankfulness – Day 12 – Winter Encouragement
Encouragement comes in many forms: cards in the mail, a phone call, a visit, a pot of hot soup, a plate of cookies, a hug, a neighbor visiting and offering help, etc. Sometimes, God uses the weather as encouragement too! It encourages us to get out our sweaters, make sure we have plenty of winter fuel, move our plants to a safe location for the winter, etc. It’s also a time to make sure people around us have warm clothing, fuel, insulation, working heating system, etc. so they will have a better winter. I know our winters are not as cold as the winters many people have, but it is a good time to meet needs. Let’s “get with it”! The temperatures will drop tonight.
Continue to pray for all those who have been mentioned here, those who were mentioned at church or the grocery store, and those whose names were left unspoken. People often need extra prayers at this time of the year.
