“Since you were brought back to life with Christ,
focus on the things that are above —
where Christ holds the highest position.
Keep your mind on things above,
not on worldly things.”
~Colossians 3:1-2~
Kaye Roberts said her brother, Jimmy Alford, developed A-Fib Saturday. This was a surprise to them because he had been doing so well Friday. Pray for them to stay encouraged as Jimmy recovers from the surgery.

Be sure to read how this song came about. That means so much to me because this is my “stand-by” song for the difficult days of my life since I was a child. I have banged this song out on the piano many a day. The first few verses would be loud and harsh. As I accepted the meaning of the song, the loudness softened and the harsh tones became sweeter. I played many verses some days before I finally got to the sweet, soft music I needed. I know I took my problems out on the piano, but at least I felt better and no longer felt the way I did when I started to play. This song will always be special to me.

This day was created by God for us. What will you do doing on this special day?
