“After these things I looked, and behold,
a great multitude which no one could number,
of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues,
standing before the throne and before the Lamb,
clothed with white robes,
with palm branches in their hands.”

Jason’s Story – http://jadonsisstory.blogspot.com/
Caroline Cutrer‘s mother, Treva, thanks ALL who have encouraged and supported them during the past two years. Caroline is ending her treatment soon. Then, they look forward to a time of monitoring her before declaring her cancer free. What a difficult journey this family has traveled, but what great support they have had. Most of all, what a Great Physician God is! Let’s continue to pray for the family as they complete the journey.
Last night, David led a small group in sharing the Lord’s Supper at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Harrell. What a blessing that was to those who represented FBC, Kentwood, the Harrells, and their daughter and son-in-law (Phyllis and Don Yarborough). Other members of the church were doing the same thing in other locations. I cannot describe for you the blessing it was for me to be there, but it was a memory I will aways cherish. We were able to present them with the framed paper signed by many members of the church last week to honor the Harrell’s 72nd anniversary which was Monday, the 19th. “Miss” Annie Bell blessed us by again telling the wonderful story of how they planned and carried out “running away” to get married at the ages of 16 and 17. Mr. Phillip added that they “grew up”‘ with their kids. Don led a prayer thanking God for the support of members of the church who have been faithful to the Harrells during the last three years when “Miss” Annie Bell’s health has cause them to be homebound.
Several families in our area are going through the final days with a loved one. Faithfully pray for them to find God’s guidance and peace each day.
The “Young” Ladies Birthday Party will be tomorrow at Nyla’s at 11:00. Feel free to remind others so they can be there to help celebrate these birthdays.
The “Lucy” Bible study will begin Friday at 10:00 at FBC, Kentwood. Each study is independent of the others. They do not require homework or cost any money. Ladies for other churches are invited to participate with us. It would be helpful to get a count ahead of time, so contact the church office, 229-8111, please. Even if we don’t have your name ahead of time, please come join us in laughing followed by serious discussions.
