Please remember my classmate and friend since childhood Aurelia Ann Varnado (Weegee), Cancer has taken over most of her body including sternum and lumbar area. She is in good spirits and will begin chemo next Tuesday. I know Jesus will hold her hand through this but prayers are needed badly. Fran Walker

We’ve been praying for Eli. Today, Prayers for Eli on facebook, indicate he has completed his chemo. Continue to pray for this young man.
Line Creek Baptist Church
Tomorrow morning (TODAY), during our worship service, we are going to have “the blessing of the backpacks.” Actually, we are going to have a time of prayer for each kid that is starting school (or already has started school), while wearing/carrying his or her backpack/bookbag. We are also going to have a special time of prayer for all of our teachers. Don’t forget to bring your backpack/bookbag, if you’ve got one. See in the morning!
Greensburg Baptist Church (From JoEllen Carruth)
I would like to invite everyone to the First Baptist Church in Greensburg this Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. for Sunday School and then 10:30 a.m for our 147th celebration worship service. Over 147 years ago the church was begun on the present site and has been a part of the Greensburg community. We will have one of our former pastors, Dr. Arthur “Bo” Rice as our speaker and one of our former music directors, Chuck Brown will lead our music. We will have “dinner on the grounds” following the morning worship. Please come and be a part of this celebration in our community. Everyone is welcome.
Pray for us later this morning as we make a delivery of items to Williams Blvd. Baptist Church. The items will be delivered to the Hatchels at the end of this week. Especially pray for the ministry of the nine people who will work among the Gypsies. May their efforts be multiplied by our God who wants the Gypsies to know Him.
