Update on Austin Rose (His parents grew up in Amite.)
Update on Austin…. For all of my friends who are praying for Austin ( and there are so MANY that it warms heart ) please continue to do so. He has been diagnosed with Mature B-cell leukemia/lymphoma. While we are shell shocked, we have been told there is a 90% cure rate and that is what we are hanging on to! Mature B Cell is aggressive so it requires aggressive treatment…he will have his first round of chemo today or tomorrow, depending on his strength. He will undergo surgery this morning to put in a vas cath ( catheter) in case his kidneys have trouble after chemo processing all of the cancer cell debris. So that is where we stand right now. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and ask Our Heavenly Father to grace us with a complete healing. From the bottom of my heart… Thank you so much.
