Joe Moore
(June 16, 1950 – April 10, 2013)

A resident of Roseland, died at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 16, 1950 in Amite and was 62 years of age. He was a retired Sheriff’s Deputy from Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, was the former owner of Moore’s Refrigeration and later worked at Smitty’s Supply. He was a member of the Tangipahoa Parish Coon Hunting Association and the Bear Creek Hunting Club. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Marsiglia Moore, Roseland; 2 step-children, Vincent Marsiglia, Jr., Tickfaw and Deborah Shelton, Hammond; 3 step-grandchildren, Amy Shelton, Bradley Shelton and Vincent Marsiglia, III; 1 step-great-grandchild, Khloe Shelton; mother, Betty Moore, Roseland; 2 sisters, Deborah Rowdon and Frankie Fontenot; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father, Cleo Joseph Moore, Jr.; sister, Judy Hammons. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Services conducted by Fr. Mark Beard.
