A resident of Kentwood, died at 1:43 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at her residence. She was born March 3, 1932 in Poplarville, MS and was 80 years of age. Visitation at New Zion Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Services conducted by Rev. Richard Sandberg. Interment New Zion Cemetery, Kentwood. Survived by 2 sons, Ronald Calvin Harris, Tylertown, MS, Joseph Steven “Steve” Harris, Baton Rouge, 8 grandchildren, Ronnie Gerald Harris and wife, Dana, Tina, Stevie, Melissa, Laura, Amanda, Nathan and Julie Harris, 4 great grandchildren, Sarah, Christian, DJ and Dallas, 2 brothers, George Mitchell and Monroe Mitchell and 2 sisters, Josie Spears and Peggy Parson.
