Thankfulness: Day 17

Today, I’m thankful for technology.

• News that streams into my house as it happens and pictures from around the world of events as they happened.  (I remember the days of the Viet Nam War when we saw one day the events to the day before.)
• A phone that rings in my house that connects me to family and friends in Kentwood, in the state, in the United States, and around the world.
• A phone in my pocket or purse that finds me when I am not at home.
• My computer that is like another brain, a television, a telephone, a typewriter, etc.  I depend on my computer for so many things off and on each day.

I know other people use more technology than I do.  That’s wonderful!  I have found the ones that are important to me.  I don’t wish to go back to the technology we had in the days when I was growing up, but  I’m so thankful for the current technology and looking forward to the technology of the future.
